There is a two-part “Help for Homeowners” event coming up in Phoenix on Wednesday. One event for agents, and one for homeowners…
These events are brought to you by MakingHomeAffordable.gov an official program of the Departments of the Treasury & Housing and Urban Development and sponsored, I *think*, by the Arizona Department of Real Estate. The event is free and requires no pre-registration.
Part 1 – for real estate professionals only. “Helping your clients avoid foreclosure with a short sale”
Wednesday, October 12. Two sessions – 10:00am – 11:15am and 11:30am – 12:45pm.
- Opportunity for real estate professionals to meet face-to-face with client’s respective servicer. Get difficult questions answered and move stuck cases forward.
- Attend information session about short sales presented by Treasury officials, servicer representatives (Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo), Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Arizona’s housing finance agency, and housing counselors.
- Don’t forget your third party authorization form signed by the client.
Part 2 – for homeowners. “Avoid Foreclosure with a short sale”
Wednesday, October 12. Ongoing sessions from 2:00pm – 7:30pm.
- Opportunity to learn about short sales and other options.
- Homeowners can meet face-to-face with their servicers and housing counselors.
- Real estate professionals may join homeowner clients in meetings or discussions with servicers (third-party authorization or Short Sale Agreement required).
Location for both events: Phoenix Convention Center. 100 North Third Street. Phoenix, AZ. 85004. Complimentary parking available.
